Our Team
Security Veterans of America LLC was founded by Shawn Tovey, a service-connected disabled veteran. Shawn’s military journey began at 17 as a survival equipment specialist, and he turned 18 while stationed on Diego Garcia. During his service, he volunteered at the DG cyber cafe, where he learned about computer networking and helped service members stay in touch with their families.
Shawn has an impressive background, having served in both the active-duty Navy and the Army National Guard across various states and countries. He holds certifications from several security system manufacturers and has been involved in over 100 school construction projects. Additionally, he has contracted with the Department of Defense (DOD) and gained experience in public safety projects nationwide.
